Research On The Inventory Management Of The Military Components To The Z Company

In recent years, as China’s aerospace industry gradually shifted to the marketization, the responsible aerospace enterprises of military products began to face the pressure of competition in the market. Confronting the severe competition situation, the control of the operation cost directly effects the survival and development of enterprises. For the product department, the reserve stock ensures the stability of the production process, while occupies a large amount of funds, resulting in high operating costs, which impacts corporate profit growth. Especially in aerospace enterprises, due to industry sector’s long-term traditional philosophy, that is, "The production matters, the cost doesn’t." Results in many problems exposed:a huge amount of inventory, with low turnover rate, obsolete information management, and so on. To solve these problems, we should effectively reduce the enterprise inventory costs, thereby increasing the competitiveness of enterprises in the market, we should a very important practical significance.Taking company Z’s military component inventory as the research object, from the perspective of the company internal inventory control, we surveyed warehouse management, production management, marketing management, lag-waste management and the effects of spare parts management on inventory, respectively, within business activities. Through face to face interviews, hold seminars, this study collected data by field survey, plus data analysis and other methods to obtain information on the company’s inventory management. Combining qualitative and quantitative research results analysis, the research found the main problems leading to high inventory. In the inventory management optimization scheme, we come up with the improvement scheme of the commodity standardization management, which is applying ABCD classifying method to solve the problems of military components spare parts purchasing strategy, and make the management system of the inaction stock. Finally, combined with the company’s actual we designed a set of information management platform. It provides a reasonable management suggestion for the material stock management of aerospace enterprise, which has referenced significance to the optimization management among industry.
