| In order to prevent the financial crisis triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis in 2007, "Basel III" came into being, and our country as a member of the Basel committee is actively implementing the "Basel III". This paper focuses on the analysis which caused the specific effects of Basel Accord III, the four regulatory tools to Chinese listed commercial banks operating performance, and the main study was separated by system important bank and non-system important bank to make Chinese listed commercial bank to achieve stable operation and sustainable development goals, and to remain competitive. The purpose of the main part of this paper was the summary of literature, the specific content of the evolution of the Basel Accord, the Basel III "four big regulatory tools for the finishing and also on the four regulatory tools how to influence bank performance is analyzed. Then use descriptive statistics to study the change and the relationship between the four regulatory tools and the performance of the bank in the Basel Accord III. Then use panel data model to make an empirical study on the four major regulatory tools and bank operating performance under the Basel Accord III. The empirical results show that:the systemically important banks, the core capital adequacy ratio, flow ratio, loan to deposit ratios and bank size on the bank’s operating performance has a significant role in promoting, leverage, allowance for loan rate, non-performing loan rate and GDP growth rate of the bank’s operating performance to certain inhibitory effect. In the non systemically important banks, leverage ratio, flow ratio, loan to deposit ratios, bank scale and GDP growth rate had significant promoting effect on the operating performance of the bank, core capital adequacy ratio and loan provision ratio and non-performing loan rate of the bank’s operating performance to certain inhibitory effect. Finally, according to the results of the research, the regulatory agencies and listed commercial banks are proposed policy recommendations. |
