Study On Residents’ Consumption Behavior And The Influential Factors Of It

The residents’ consumption consists of rural residents’ consumption and urban residents consumption two parts. China is a large agricultural country in which the rural population is much more than the urban population. In rural areas, there is a large demand and a huge potential market. The rural residents’consumption is more and more important in promoting economic growth. Therefore, it’s significant to research the consumption behavior of rural residents and its influencing factors.The article is based on Yueyang County in Hunan province. After reviewed the literature, the article analyzed entirely the consumption behavior of rural residents and its influencing factors from the consumers’ features, the economic basis, consumption psychology and consumption environment our factors by using the factors analysis method, designing the questionnaire of consumption behavior of rural residents and its influencing factors and constructing econometrics’ models. Finally, it put forward suggestions of improving rural residents’ consumption. As for the method of research in this paper, it used teethed of questionnaire and empirical analysis. Besides, SPSS 17.0 software is used for data collation and analysis of questionnaires.
