The Research Of Risk Management On The Escalator Development Project

With the development of industry and manufacturing, more and more projects have been developed. In today’s rapid economic development and competition, the scale of the projects is becoming bigger and bigger, more and more complex, which make the projects holders take more time and resource to study and identify the basic principles of project management and the detailed project management methods to enhance the project management. Especially during the period of the project design and development, the challenge is great to achieve the goal or expected target due to the multiple uncertain factors and risks. In the process of the project research and development, it is very important to identify the potential risks in advance and to take the related corresponding strategies and measures to avoid, eliminate or weaken the risks.This paper is based on the escalator development project-application of regenerative device on escalator to discuss the risk management on development project. The project background, significance of the topic and the method of analyzing the problem are introduced in this paper firstly, then this paper introduces the development history of project management, the key points of project management and how to control the risks during project development. General risk identification means and methods are introduced by reading relevant literature as well. Based on the project specification, the potential technology, marketing and project schedule risks are identified by using of appropriate methods based on the analysis of the operation characteristics of the escalator during this project development. According to the identified potential risks, related test, verification and analysis are performed and taken to avoid, eliminate the project risk in the end, so that the project can be implemented smoothly.
