Analysis On The Terms Of Trade And Influence Factor Of Paper Production In China

The terms of trade is an important indicator to measure the efficiency of international foreign exchange movements of a country or region. It has also been a hot issue in the research field of international trade. In this paper, it is based on the background of the paper development of China, we analyze the significance of researching the terms of trade of paper production. From the perspective of theory, the concept and the influence factor of the terms of trade have been expounded in detail. Here, the paper production is classified into five categories. The current situation of paper products in China has been discussed by analyzing various influence factors, including the number of import and export trade, the amount, the price, the market and others. By calculating the overall and classified paper products’ price and income terms of trade and trade loss, the paper analyzes China’s overall trade conditions and the five major categories of paper products changes between 1992-2014 years. From the empirical aspects, this article via multiple linear regression analyzes the influence factors of Net Barter Terms of Trade. It is shows that the overall and classified terms of trade of paper products appear deterioration and worsening; income terms of trade exhibits improving trend. In the aspect of empirical, the paper analyze the influence factors of Net Barter Terms of Trade by the multiple linear regression. Finally, a series of suggestions have been proposed in order to improve the terms of trade of paper products of China.
