Research On Impact Of Institutional Environment Of Sustainable Development On Entrepreneurial Activities

Under the background of global sustainable development, entrepreneurial activity is regarded as the engine of economic growth, while facing the contradiction between economic development and emissions. Sustainable development requires entrepreneurial activities to take account of economic, social and ecological "triple bottom line", which makes the institutional environment play an unique and important role in the entrepreneurial process under the sustainable development background. Although domestic and foreign scholars have increasingly attached the importance of studying the influence of institutional environment on entrepreneurship, but the related research is still very lacking. So this article tries to study the key issues "how institutional environment promote the concept of sustainable development to the real entrepreneurial actions and realize the value creation goal"; in order to help policy formulation improve institutional environment and guide the high-quality entrepreneurial activities.This study includes three main contents. In the first part, this paper generalizes and analyzes the present situation of entrepreneurial activities, entrepreneurship policy system and institutional environment of sustainable development. In the second part, this paper used 1998-2013 statistical data to analyze the mechanism of three dimensions of institutional environment of sustainable development to entrepreneurial activities and put forward the mechanism model. In the third part, this paper selected LED industry in Guangdong Province, Dongguan City as a case, to further demonstrate the validity and application value of the research model in region and industry level.Hence, the following conclusions are drawn. First, three dimensions of institutional environment of sustainable development are not all the antecedent variables of entrepreneurial activities. Second, there are differences between the role of opportunity entrepreneurship and survival entrepreneurship on economic growth. Third, the government plays a leading role in the construction of institutional environment of sustainable development.Therefore, this study proposes the following suggestions for the construction of institutional environment of sustainable development. First, pay attention to the construction of cognitive environment and regulatory environment of sustainable development. Second, arrange promotion policies of opportunity entrepreneurship and survival entrepreneurship reasonably, to adjust the structure of our entrepreneurial activities. Not only pay attention to the birth of new enterprises, but also to the growth and development of new enterprises. Third, governments’vigorously guide is necessary to green economic development and entrepreneurial activities.
