Research Of The Relationship Among Entrepr Eneurial Institutional Environment,Entrepre Neurship And Entreoreneurial Performance

How entrepreneurs continually gain competitive advantages and improve entrepreneurial performance in a complex and dynamic environment is a major academic proposition and an important practical proposition.Institutional theory as a pillar theory to explain corporate performance has attracted more and more scholars' attention.Especially for entrepreneurs,the entrepreneurial institutional environment has a great impact on the success or failure of entrepreneurship.The quality of the entrepreneurial institutional environment causes the difference in entrepreneurial performance,which is the same as the technology and resources owned by the enterprise.However,how the entrepreneurial institutional environment affects and functions to entrepreneurial performance remains to be further studied.Under the guidance of institutional theory and risk perception theory,the study uses entrepreneurship as a mediator between entrepreneurial institutional environment and entrepreneurial performance and introduces entrepreneurs' risk perception characteristics as a regulatory variable to explore the mechanism of action between entrepreneurial institutional environment and entrepreneurial performance.The following assumptions are established: the entrepreneurial institutional environment influences the entrepreneurial performance by influencing the entrepreneurial spirit as an entrepreneurial orientation and strategic choice.That is,the better the entrepreneurial institutional environment divided into the entrepreneurial regulatory environment dimension,the entrepreneurial normative environmental dimension and the entrepreneurial cognitive environment dimension,the better the level of entrepreneurial spirit is exerted.Ultimately the entrepreneurial performance of the enterprise is improved.However,the relationship between entrepreneurial institutional environment and entrepreneurial spirit is influenced by the risk perception characteristics of entrepreneurs.The lower the degree of perception of entrepreneurs' risk,the more positive attitude in response to the entrepreneurial institutional environment they face.Then they are easy to choose an entrepreneurial strategy.In order to verify the research hypothesis,317 non-state-owned entrepreneurs in Beijing,Guangdong,Jiangsu,Hainan and Gansu were selected as samples to conduct a questionnaire survey.After processing and analyzing the collected data to ensure that its reliability and validity meet the basic requirements of data analysis,it conducts correlation analysis,regression analysis and tests its hypothesis.The empirical results are as follows: the entrepreneurial institutional environment has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial performance;entrepreneurship has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial performance;entrepreneurship plays a mediating role in the positive impact of entrepreneurialinstitutional environment on entrepreneurial performance.The risk perception characteristics of entrepreneurs regulates the relationship between entrepreneurial institutional environment and entrepreneurial spirit.
