In today’s society, the next generation information technology represented by cloud computing has been an important component of strategic emerging industries. The research and development has drawn the wide attention at home and abroad. Predictably, with the development of cloud computing and the establishment of related standards, cloud computing will affect every aspect of our life like the Internet in those days.Cloud computing is the use of resources those released in the form of services on the Internet. Ordinary users can according to their own requirements use various resources provided by cloud computing to deploy services, but properties of these services such as reliability and performance are inseparable from the quality of services(QoS) for cloud computing. In order to ensure the normal operation of the services, cloud service providers must provide users with some QoS guarantees. But with more and more service types provided, how to evaluate QoS for cloud computing has been a thorny problem.Considering existing methods, the thesis establishes a model to objectively evaluate QoS for cloud computing by using fuzzy mathematics and gray theories.The modeling process includes selecting QoS indicators, establishing the model, collecting the data, and processing the data with a comprehensive evaluation method to get the result. Finally, through evaluating two private clouds having different requirements, the applicability of the model established in this thesis to evaluate QoS for cloud computing is validated.In order to further validate the correctness of the model in this thesis and ensure QoS for cloud computing, the thesis with further studying the existing researches improves the selection strategy of the virtual machine migration based on load prediction and proposes a maximum migration efficiency algorithm based on memory priority. The experiment show that the algorithm proposed by the thesis can further reduce the migration price and ensure that the cloud provides better services to users, while thinking the migration efficiency caused by the virtual machine migration. It is proved that the QoS is significantly improved through evaluating QoS for the cloud based on the algorithm proposed by using the model established in the thesis.Based on the above research, the thesis proposes a feasible solution for the evaluation of QoS and elastic extension technology, implements a QoS model and the evaluation of QoS, and puts forward an improved selection algorithm of the virtual machine migration.The research in this thesis will have significant practical application value in the evaluation of QoS and elastic extensionservice technology.
