It still is the first task for the Power Enterprise to ensure the grid safely, stably, economically, continuously operating; and this characteristics determines the operating personnel have irreplaceable position at the power plant. The operating sector is the core of thermal power plants, and the operations department is the key to ensure the power plant normally operate. So the operating personnel are the backbone to ensure the power plant orderly product. In recent years, with the scale of the grid have been more expanding, the. level of installed capacity have been continuously improved as well as the popularization of smart grid, the operating mode of the power grid has become increasingly complex. Therefore, the power plant need operating personnel more requirements, and the skilled training also have been put on the agenda.In this context, this paper starts from the enterprise’s origin and structure. According to the requirements for skilled posts, analogizing it’s job responsibilities and setting up the competency model. Next, dividing into several modules and constructing the training system. To expand the training of the operating personnel from the classroom to the diversify, and make the training more targeted and flexible, achieving the goal what learn. At the same time, flexibly arranging for the schedule as seasonal production, and solving the contradiction between work and training.
