In 2009, the Greek sovereign debt crisis trigger the European debt crisis,which make the euro zone’s sovereign debt crisis spread rapidly.It also cause significant impact on the European economy and even the global economy.The European Union,as China’s largest trading partner, its debt crisis can have serious impacts on China-EU trade.European debt crisis has experienced four stages from the outbreak so far.It includes outbreak period,development period,spread period,recovery period.In different period,the European debt crisis have exerted varying degrees of influence to China-EU trade scale and the main import and export products.The scale between the trade of China and PIIGS(Portugal,Italy,Ireland,Greece and Spain) and the scale between the trade of China and France and Germany are quite different before and after the European debt crisis.The impact of the European debt crisis on China-EU trade is mainly through international trade channels, financial channels, psychological expectations channels and demand channels.Based on different EU countries have different effects by the debt crisis,China’s response to the European debt crisis and the expansion of European trade policy should also be different.We should strengthen dialogue with the EU to reduce friction,improve the quality of export products to the EU.We should also actively promote mutual investment and economic and technical cooperation between China and the EU.Due to the trade volume between PIIGS and China is small,we should actively promote the trade between the PIIGS and our country.To France and Germany,we should actively take the introduction of its advanced technology and expand the scope of trade and invesment cooperationin to promote the beneficial development between China and the EU.
