Transportation have long seen as the lifeline of the national economy, it greatly promotes the development of social economy, the development of the society cannot leave the transportation infrastructure. For henan province is located in the central plains, the highway transportation in its economic development has made the important contribution. This article aims to by using the method of multi-objective programming, the highway transportation and economic development in henan empirical analysis.According to ask questions, find problems, to solve the problem, first summarizes the domestic and foreign research on the relation between highway transportation and regional economic development, on the basis of research and multi-objective programming method, put forward in this paper, the relevant theoretical research, and from the perspective of qualitative analysis, detailing the highway transportation and regional economic development relations of mutual promotion and restriction. Quantitative analysis part, first set up the highway transportation and regional economic development evaluation index system, selection of data from 2000 to 2014, and then the data with SPSS software into the economy index and the highway transport index respectively through regression analysis, get economy index and the highway transport index of linear regression model, and analyze the correlation between them; Finally using the multi-objective programming method, the transportation investment and regional economy in henan multi-objective optimization, get the best for the cities in henan province in road transport, it is concluded that we should be in zhengzhou, luoyang, xinxiang, jiaozuo, etc.10, increasing investment in transportation; And through to the cities in henan province in the traffic on the ratio of the input and output indexes were analyzed, and concluded that in henan province in the aspect of highway transportation of total proportion of the total input of national economy should be between 2.5% and 4.6%; Chose the road traffic planning and economic development of henan province, the reason for this is that the location of henan province, in central China, is a coherent, north and south, linking the west axial position, it is because of the special strategic position, coupled with in henan province are mainly composed of railway and highway transportation, so this paper selected the highway planning and economic development of henan province relationship study; Through multi-objective programming tools, can more systematically integrate highway traffic and economic development resources, make the optimal allocation of resources.
