As of the end of 2014, China’s cumulative photovoltaic power generation total installed capacity reaches 2805 million kilowatts, and new photovoltaic power generation capacity reaches 10.6 million kilowatts. While photovoltaic power generation installed capacity continues to grow rapidly, how to ensure the reliability of the power plant production, to reduce cost of power plants and to improve the competitiveness of the power plant are the key to influencing the profitability of power plant. Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power station spare parts inventory management adopts the original management mode in the past. In the early stage, it purchases much more enough spare parts in order to reduce the risk of down time to reduce shutdown risk, and it doesn’t analyzes spare parts comprehensively. Such a subjective mode setting minimum and maximum inventory causes unreasonable spare parts stock structure and high stock cost. In order to solve the problems existing in the spare parts inventory management of Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power station, the optimization spare parts inventory model is put forward, which is based on the scientific classification of the main spare parts, and thus can reduce the cost of spare parts inventory.Using the related theories of the spare parts inventory control as theoretical basis, this paper deep analyzes the status of spare parts inventory management of Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power plant, and points out that there are three main problems:problem one, there is no different for the spare parts to make a scientific classification of spare parts management; problem two, accounting that the procurement of spare parts rely entirely on the subjective judgment of maintenance personnel, there is no scientific and reliable basis; problem three, the inventory model is too simple, and can not forecast the spare parts demand accurately. In order to solve the above problems, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to solve the problem. Strategy one, classify Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power plant spare parts scientifically; Countermeasures two, aiming at the characteristics of different types of spare parts, establish the optimization inventory model. This series of countermeasures can solve problems occurring in Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power plant spare parts inventory existing management process. After optimization, the average inventory cost and stock quantity of the spare parts of Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power plant are obviously decreased, and the optimization effect is obvious.There are two main innovations of this paper. One is that this paper analyzes the Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power station spare parts from the viewpoint of goods out of warehouse frequency, cost accounting and procurement cycle in-depth, and finds out the potential rules. On this basis, this paper sums up the spare parts and offers a scientific and reasonable classification classification of spare parts using ABC classification method. Second, according to the characteristics of different types of Shangyi 20MW photovoltaic power station spare parts, this paper constructs an optimized inventory model and analyzes its optimization effects.
