Germany fully involved in the Second Industrial Revolution and made great success during the German Empire period. The traditional iron and steel industry ushered in the second development opportunities, electrical industry and chemical industry enterprise gained Worldwide success. The Industrial enterprise played a central role in the tide of industrialization.The economic cycle and the characteristics of the industrialization had a great influence on the internal and external development of the industrial enterprise during the German Empire period. The industrial enterprise adopted vertical integration development strategy and diversification strategy within them for defensive, took full advantage of economies of scale and economies of scope to reduce costs. The organization setting was adjusted and the salaried entrepreneur had been employed along with the expansion of the scale of the enterprise. At the same time, they strengthened scientific research to improve market competitiveness. They vigorously implemented centralize within the industry in order to promote rationalization of the industry and replace competition with cooperation. To solve the financing problems they were closely linked with the big banks, but they also had to learn how to deal with the impact of the bank properly.The German government took various measures timely with the development of industrial enterprises, such as adjusted the tariff policy, perfected the company law and the patent law, vigorously developed higher education to adapt to the industrial development, strengthened the management of railway transportation, changed the foreign policy for the industry to expand the supply of raw materials and overseas markets, etc. In brief, the German government created a favorable external environment for the German industrial enterprise.
