As a developing country, China will still in a period of rapid development of city, industrialization, marketization during the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" period and for a long period of time. As the unceasing enhancement of urbanization level and the deepening of industrial structure adjustment, the investment in the people’s livelihood engineering by the governments will increase. The area of construction industry in our country is initially expected to maintain nearly 2 billion square meters every year. As architectural decoration industry supporting, the annual new construction decoration engineering quantity will still maintain a rapid growth momentum.Chinese architectural decoration industry started in the eighty’s of twenty century. China will be in a period of rapid development from a traditional agricultural country to a powerful country of urbanization and industrialization, since the reform and opening up and in a long time. A lot of decoration business will be appear as the rapid development of the national economy, the increasingly promoted of urbanization and the large number of investment in people’s livelihood projects by the government. Therefore, the development prospect of architectural decoration industry in China is broad.The wood products factory production and installation technology is put as the key technology demonstration, promotion in the “Several opinions about building decoration industry science and technology progress”. Factory production is the future development trend of the industry. Comparing to the construction site, factory production can improve the production efficiency and technology level, reducing the industry’s production costs and greatly enhance the cost performance of decoration engineering.BY group is one of the architectural decoration industries that have the most complete business qualification of enterprises, one of the six listed companies and leading enterprises of the architectural decoration industry in China. The company is specialized in the design and construction of various types of construction engineering. Architectural decoration is the main business, and also undertake the design, construction and installation of curtain wall, intelligentialize, fire protection, metal doors and windows, electrical equipment, steel structure engineering. With the rapid expansion of business, the original equipment and production capacity is far from meeting the need of development. The company plans to invest wood products factory production project to address the issue of production capacity and expand the industrial chain of the company. Enhances enterprise competitive ability and the ability of sustainable development and promotes the comprehensive development of the business of the company with the help of the policy advantages and the competitive advantage of enterprise.The project is plan to use 24 months to build some processing workshop and other facilities, covers an area of about 21,600 square meters in the Guangzhou Baiyun District from New Canton Road East Industrial Park. It mainly including building wood shop and purchasing advanced production equipment and the factory is mainly engaged in the application, processing, manufacturing and industrial production of wood products.In this paper, the project is analyzed comprehensively based on feasibility study theory and the combination of the science frame and contents of project feasibility study. The research shows that the net present value of the project(NPV) is positive, the internal rate of return(IRR) is high and the investment recovery period is short. In addition, the risk is less and the investment value is great. This project is a feasible plan.
