Research On Effect Of The Board Structure On The Innovation Performance

For china, the economy is in its new round of development by leaps and bounds, the key to the economic restructuring and the change of the pattern of economic growth is innovation, it is also the root for the continuing and coordinating development of society and economy. Enterprises play a main role in the improvement of innovation. This paper is written on the basis of reference from different countries, it starts with the governance structure of board as well as the quality structure of the board. This paper not only discuss the relationship between the factors of board structure and innovation performance, it also focused on some detailed aspects to make a further discussion, so that the analysis results and be more objective.This article mainly includes the following four parts: firstly, the introduction, by discussing the purpose and significance of the research, it then brings out the key topic and a brief summation of reference globally. The second part mainly includes the meaning of board structure and the innovation performance, it also shows the research done by domestic and foreign researchers. The third part is about theoretical analysis and the research hypothesis. The fourth part mainly contains the selection of samples, the building of models. The fifth part is mainly about empirical analysis, there are descriptive analysis and Person variable correlation test included in this part, so that the theory can reflect the reality to some extent.From this article, we mainly get the following results: firstly, the separation of duties of chairman and general manager is good to the positive influence of independent director to the innovation performance, in companies where the concentration of ownership is low, the effect of independent directors on innovation performance is more significant. Thirdly, younger and higher educational board of directors are more conductive to enterprise innovation decision. Finally, the political association produce positive effects on innovation performance especially in private companies. At the end of the article, there is a summary of the main perspectives and objectively analyzed the deficiencies for the improvement in the future.
