Knitting clothingindustryis not only an important component of the apparel industry, but also a kind of essential traditional industry in China, which benefits economic growth, the state fo employment,marketdemands and foreign exchange earnings. China’s knitting clothing industry has developed rapidly over the past decade, and domestic and international market demandforknitting apparel has expanded continually.Knitting clothing production features order-oriented, style diverse and short delivery time.Its production process is complex, and requires timely and accurate transmission of information between departments. Enterprise should develop a fair and reasonable approach to manage the production to assure the satisfied quality and improve the efficiency. Accordingly, knitting enterprise need to adapt to the rapidly changing market environment. However, most of the domestic Knitting clothing enterprises are small and medium ones which were developed by family workshops, and the management model is still one, resulting in the relatively backwardness in efficiency, quality, control methods and strengthened capability. The extensive family workshop management mode is notable to meet the market need any more, so how to optimize production management to improve the affiance become a major challenge for many knitting enterprise.As one of the most critical parts of production management in knitting clothing enterprises, production scheduling focuses on how to optimize the profit and satisfy the production demand. It’s one of the key problems in the production planning and control. In order to reduce the production cost and improve the production efficiency, the research on efficient scheduling method and effective optimization technology is very important. This paper focuses on the production scheduling problem of knitting clothing enterprise, according to the enterprise management mode and production characteristics, the production scheduling problem is simplified as a multi-objective hybrid Shop Flow scheduling problem. According to the irrational and unscientific scheduling method in knitting clothing enterprise, adopt NSGA II to solve the multi-objective scheduling problem. Use Matlab to simulate the algorithm, and analysis the case comparison to verify effectiveness of the algorithm by the comparative analysis of the case. This thesis studies the following aspects:Firstly, select 15 representative small-to mid-sized knitting clothing enterprise in Tongxiang as the object, collect the production information through investigate on the spot, mail communication and telephone counseling. Use SPSS19.0 statistical analysis software analysis research results.The conclusions are as follows:the production scale of enterprises is small, the production equipment is advanced; the design ability is weak, the production is mainly dependence on order; the client groups are ecommerce and domestic brands; the production scheduling staff has low qualification, and the scheduling in majority of enterprises mainly is dependence on personal experience.Secondly, choose the DW knitting clothing enterprise as the actual case. Through the enterprise practice, acquaint and analysis the enterprise’s organizational structure, production layout, production mode and other information. Point out that the enterprise mainly rely on personal experience to develop the production scheduling scheme, has some problem such as low efficiency, lack of scientific, inflexible.Thirdly, for the unscientific and low efficiency in production scheduling, use genetic algorithm to optimize the production scheduling program. According to the characteristics of production, business philosophy and actual demand, take minimum makespan and minimum delay delivery time as the scheduling objective. On the basis of the workshop layout, simplify the production process as four parts; take the working group in every process as a machine. Considering the constraints of resources and process in the production process of knitted products, simplify the enterprise production scheduling problem to a multi-objective hybrid Flow Shop scheduling problem. Adopt NSGA II to solve the scheduling problem. Reduce the complexity of the algorithm by introducing the fast non-dominated sorting algorithm and elitist strategy.Finally, according to the actual production case, designs an integer encoding method based on the job processing sequence and Machine serial number. Use R2010 b Matlab to program genetic algorithm. By comparison of the scheduling algorithm based on the algorithm and the scheduling algorithm based on personal experience, it is proved that the scheduling scheme based on the proposed algorithm precede to the scheduling algorithm based on personal experience in the both scheduling objectives, which verifies the effectiveness of the algorithm.Through the study, provides thinking and solutions to optimize theproductionscheduling problem in small and medium sized knitting clothing enterprises.
