Research On Interaction Relationship Between Information Service Industry And Economic Development Of Beijing

With the development of economy in China, information service continues to grow. It has become a fundamental and strategic industry of the national economy. Various cities and regions have been accelerating the development of information service. Information service has become a measure of the level of economic development and level standards of industrial optimization now. With rich resources of talent, technology, capital, markets, information service has been developing rapidly in Beijing, and has been playing a leading role in the country.Based on the widely relevant research works of scholars, the paper chooses the relationship between information service and local socio-economic development of Beijing as the research object. One part of the reasons is that as the Technology Innovation Center of the country, the economic development of Beijing has strong guidance and representation. The other part of the reasons is that by exploring the relationship, Beijing can better develop its economy and can also provide experiences for other regions.Firstly, based on the basic economic theories, the paper analyzes the interaction mechanism between economic development and information service of Beijing. The paper thinks that information service plays a role to economic development through three aspects: elements optimization, technological progress and structural adjustment. Economic development provides the necessary elements of supply and demand for information service. Then by collecting numerous statistical data, the paper analyses the current situation of information service and economic development in Beijing, mainly from three aspects: overall size, structure optimization and regional development. From the empirical perspective, based on the time series of GDP and information service, the paper makes cointegration test and builds a vector autoregression model and then analyses the impulse response and variance decomposition. It makes several conclusions. In the long term, information service and economic development has a significant relationship. In the short term, time lag effects from economic development to information service are more obvious and the role of economic development in boosting information service is greater than, in turn. The mutual contribution between economic development and information service improves with time.In the last part of this paper, it makes a summary of the relationship between information service and economic development in Beijing and makes expectation and prospect for the future analyses.
