The marketization of interest rate in China started again after People’s Bank release the limitation of savings and loan rate. Chinese banks then will face great competition after The marketization of interest rate. As a result of long-term interest rate control environment, small and medium-sized banks such as S bank did not seem to be fully aware of the future environment of the arduousness which will give S bank a tremendous impact.As for previous studies on macro research, few of them paid close attention to a specific commercial bank. But in this study, I will concentrate on the microeconomic performance, and put forward the corresponding counter- measures according to the bank’s specific circumstances. I hope that through the study, all the commercial banks will have a realistic sense of crisis, so that our domestic commercial banks will respond to interest rate liberalization better.This paper focuses on the research of interest rate marketization’s specific influence on commercial banks. By using the method of analysis of financial statements and data calculation, it tries to find out how interest rate marketization will impact on S Bank and if there are any countermeasures to reduce or eliminate these impacts.This article first analyzes the necessity of the interest rate in China, then studies the characteristics of foreign interest rate marketization and analysis of Bank S’s market environment and financial impact, and finally draws the conclusion that the marketization will have influence on the profitability, customer structure, business structure and business management of Bank S.Through the analysis, the article establishes more practical significance countermeasure, such as more reasonable deposit and loan pricing system, establishing management structure of the interest rate pricing, full implement-tation of the interest rate risk management, deepening the innovation of financial products, dealing with the market competition and enterprise mergers, trial of mixed operation, strengthen the HR management and so on.
