Research On The Construction And Implementation Of The C Hotel Performance Management Project

This thesis sets up the performance management system and implementation methods for C hotel. From the late 1980 s to the beginning of nineties,more and more organizations had paid attention to performance management.Performance management was introduced into China by joint venture in the late 1990 s and was used by local famous companies.But many local famous companies could not get success from the using of performance management methods. Performance management Became a difficult problem. C hotel is a typical amd medium size synthessized hotel owned by individual.It wants to get more efficiency by the use of performance management.This thesis try to provide a solution to the problem to many hotels such as C hotel.First of all,this thesis analyzes morden theories of performance management and methods of performance management : Balanced Scorecard, KPI and 360-degree feedback.It explains what performance is, result or action? It points out performance is the result of the action and not the action itself. It claims that the cycle of performance management includs four steps :performance plan, performance doing, performance measurement and performance feedback. Secondly, this thesis analyzes the problems of C hotel in the field of performance management according to the theory of performance management, BSC, KPI and 360-degree feedback. In the third,this thesis sets up the performance management system of C hotel inclunding the three preconditions of performance management,performance plan,performance guidance, performance measurement and performance feedback. Finally,this thesis designs the methods to implement the new performance management system for C hotel including the preconditions—link the results of performance measurement to the reward.This thesis tries to provide a workable proposal for performance managment to C hotel and it got a great success from the first trying of Chinese food restaurant of C hotel.Chinese enterprisers who want to introduce performance management system into their enterprises can also get some good ideas from the thesis.
