The Complementary Nature Of Sino Russian Trade And Its Influencing Factors

China and Russia are important economic powers in the world. The development of the two countries’ trade has important significance to the development of the two countries’ people and the world trade. In re cent years, t he Sino R ussian trade has ac hieved rapid development and the bilateral trade volume has continued to rise. In 2005 constant prices, by the end of 2013, the Sino Russian bilateral trade volume had reached US $76 billion and 530 million dollars. So the Sino Russian trade has be come an im portant part of the Sino R ussian Relationship. The rapid development of Sino Russian trade has benefited from the complementarities of the trade between China and Russia and the Sino Russian trade has strong complementarities in the energy, raw materials, machinery and transportation equipments and other aspects of the trade, which has laid a good foundation for the development of Sino Russian trade. But it sh ould be seen that the current Sino Russian bilateral trade accounted for the proportion of the total bilateral trade is still very low and the Si no Russian trade has great potential to dig. How to gi ve full play to t he complementary nature of Sino Russian trade to promote the healthy and rapid development of Sino Russian trade has become an important issue of Sino Russian trade.Based on the study of the trade data of 1996-2014 in China and Russia, this paper makes a comprehensive and in-depth study on the complementary nature of Sino Russian trade and its influencing factors. This paper first d escribes the current status of Sino Russian economy and trade, including the economy and trade development of China and Russia, the main trade countries, trade structure and the problems faced by the Sino Russian trade, etc. Secondly, this paper studies the complementarity of Si no Russian trade from the aspects of S ino Russian trade structure, comparative advantage, trade integration, comprehensive trade complementarity, trade competitiveness and so on. Once a gain, this paper analyzes the factors that influence the Sino Russian trade complementarity from the aspects of product differentiation degree and industrial structure, and then verifies the model to verify the reliability of the conclusion. Finally, based on the above research, the paper summarizes the full text and puts forward the policy suggestions of developing the Sino Russian trade relations.Through the research, we can conclude that the Sino Russian trade is developing rapidly, but there is still a great potential to be tapped. Sino Russian trade has a strong complementarity and the differences of Sino Russian trade products and industrial structure has a strong impact on the Sino Russian trade. In this paper, we make concrete policy recommendations from three aspects: the full use of the complementary strengths of the two countries, the full complement of the two countries’ trade complementarity and the positive response to the Sino Russian trade problems.
