The phenomenon of chaos is a random motion of no similar rule and inherent ubiquitous in the natural environment and it is widely concerned in many disciplines and fields. As the emergence and development of chaos synchronization, The application of chaos synchronization to secure communication can obtain a chaotic signal with high degree of encryption. Due to the characteristic of similar to noise, non periodic and broad-band, the eavesdropping is hard to obtain the information from chaotic signals after mixing the information into chaotic signals. This paper will study a method of secure communication based on the synchronization of chaos systems. The main content of this paper is as follow:In this paper, a secure communication method of function projective synchronization based on chaos parameter modulation is studied firstly. In this method, the information signal is modulated to a parameters of the Lorenz chaotic system. And the chaotic signal with information and the state signal of drive system are send to the receiver. Then according to the synchronization relationship between the drive system and the response system, design a filter to extract the information. Before extracting the information, it also needs to prove the function projective synchronization between the driver and receiver. Using the stability criterion of Lyapunov, a reasonable design of controller will be given. At last, the synchronization error of the system and the error between the original signal and the recovery signal are used to verify the correctness of the method of secure communication by Matlab simulation. In addition, the security of the secure communication is increased by improving the complexity of the chaotic system, this paper studies a security method of function projective synchronization of hyperchaos Lorenz system by using the above parameters modulation method.A secure communication method of function projective synchronization based on chaos masking is also studied. In this method it mix the information signal with a state vector of coupling hyperchaos Chen chaotic drive system, and be send to the reciver with other status vectors. The method only needs to realize the projection synchronization between the drive system and the response system, the information will be extracted easily using the state vectors of response system synchronization with drive system. Finally, the synchronization error of the system and the error between the original signal and the recovery signal are used to verify the correctness of the method of secure communication by Matlab simulation. Consider the possible delays in actual transmission, this paper studies the secure method of function projective lag synchronization of coupling hyperchaos Chen chaotic system using the chaos masking method above.
