Geological disasters, especially debris flow and landslip, are prone to happen in China,and often cause huge damage and make peoples' lives and property under the serious threat. The study of geological disasters begins early and lasted a very long time. Nowadays,with the development of the technology, specially with the applications of computer science and sensors tech, this old study face the new chance and can better serve the human.Slope is a very common geological structure that often divides into tow categories,one is nature slope like hillside,valley slope and coastal, another is artificial slope includes pit steep side,cutting slope and opencast slope.Lateral deformation is able to happen in slope because it has a floating side,when lateral deformation happens and gradually develops to a continuous interpenetrated crack, a part of rock will depart from the slope, then this part of rock can be easily slide under the impact of some external factors like continuous rain. Above is the process that how a slope develops from stable to destroyed and this process is the cause of landslip and debris flow.For geological disasters has destructive damages and complex cause,it will be a very urgent and difficult task to study them.Generally speaking, quantification and visualization is the trend of the geological disaster research. So, this paper is committed to invent a device that can monitor the slope and its' rainfall around. This device is required that can carry a large number of rock and soil, more importantly, the degree of tilt of the slope and the value of rainfall is both adjustable. In order to achieve visualization, it is necessary to select the appropriate monitoring instruments to real-time measure and save some important indicators of rockand soil, such as rainfall, moisture of soil and displacement of rock. Based on the above requirements we start this design and final complete the entire device include performance tests. Our research is committed to provide a platform and frame for other study about geological disaster by monitoring a adjustable slope with surrounding environment. At the same time, the new instruments that detect the geological disaster can also test its' performance on our device. In fact, our device will be a foundation for many following geological disaster research.
