In the industrial age,oil and gas are important strategic resources around the world.However,with the rapid development of the society and the progress of science and technology,oil and gas resources consumed by human society are increasing day by day,therefore,they are gradually reducing.In order to ensure their normal supply,each country has to explore underground oil and gas resources which have not been developed through professional technology.In the exploration process of searching for underground resources,seismic exploration is a kind of essential technologies.Technicians need to transfer seismic data into the form of image for the purpose of judging the geological structure,that will benefit the seismic interpretation,in addition,image clarity influences a lot on seismic interpretation,therefore,how to enhance seismic image becomes an important topic.In seismic image enhancement processing,the traditional methods mainly include average filtering and median filtering,the biggest characteristic of the two methods is suppressing noise effectively,but they lead to a blurred image.Apart from the two,there's one method called histogram equalization,which is a common technology in image enhancement processing,meanwhile,will lead to image details missing and amplify the noise.At present,as the exploitation object of oil and gas is becoming more complicated,higher requirement is raised to seismic image,the traditional image enhancement technologies gradually show their shortcomings and cannot meet the needs of modern seismic image.In this thesis,firstly the research process of image enhancement is introduced,which summarizes the development and improvement of various kinds of different algorithms.Then in view of the disadvantages of different enhancement algorithms in seismic image processing,the global threshold algorithm of wavelet transform is improved by utilizing local threshold,soft and hard thresholds are developed by a new threshold,and the Lena image is selected to simulate enhancement effect.The results show that these improvements have made good effect.Secondly,it analyzes the seismic data,presents a kind of mixed color scheme,and proposes pseudo color image enhancement algorithm especially for seismic image processing and drawing.Finally,based on the improvement of algorithm in this thesis,seismic image enhancement processing system is designed.This system has been applied and verified by multiple blocks of data in a given area of our country,which has achieved a better experimental effect,thus it realizes the purpose of the image enhancement,lays a good foundation for the accurate seismic interpretation and has a great significance for proving geological reserves.
