Crosswell seismic is a new seismic technology which places source system and receiving system in different wells for exploration.Because of the special geometry,the wave field is very complex and illegible.We can recognize the wave field through the relationship between velocity and time of seismic waves which comes from forward.Since most of wells used crosswell exploration are horizontal wells,not declined wells,original issues of crosswell seismic have converted from 2D to 3D.But issues of kinematic forward modeling in complicated structures cannot be solved through conventional forward simulation methods such as trial ray methods,segmentally-iterative ray tracing method.So program of 3D block forward modeling is raised from 3D block and segmentally-iterative ray tracing method.Programs of 3D block forward modeling for crosswell seismic are written with Qt and VC++ 6.0 in this paper,fundamentals of 3D block forward modeling in crosswell seismic is actualized.An analysis of seismic forward model about many complicated crosswell models is made,using our procedure.The results of forward computerized methods show that methods and procedure are applicative and using them can complete three-dimensional kinematic forward modeling in crosswell seismic of complex structures.
