Taxonomy Of The Spiders Family Theridiidae From Wuling Mountains

Wuling Mountain area is located at latitude 27° 10'-31° 28',longitude 106° 56'-111° 49',including Northwestern Hunan Province,Southwestern Hubei Province,Northeastern Guizhou Province and Southeastern Chongqing City.It is rich with biodiversity and has unique ecosystem caused by its special geography,topography,geology and climate,and has important position and significance in biodiversity conservation.Although some scholars have been investigated biological diversity of Wuling mountain,but relative lack of systematic and comprehensive survey in terms of animals particularly with regard to invertebrates resource data.The present dissertation deals with the taxonomy of the spiders of the Family Theridiidae(Arachinida:Araneae)from the Wuling Mountainous,Hunan and Guizhou Province,China,aimed at enriching resource information of wuling mountain.In this paper,reported the result of a detailed study of 41 species belonging 19 genera.Including a single sexual supplemental species Moneta subspiniger,and ten new records of Wuling Mountain:Molione lemboda?Euryopis galeiforma?Chrysso oxycera?Chrysso trispinula?Parasteatoda galeiforma?Campanicola ferrumequina?Theridion undatum?Platnickina mneon?Phycosoma flavomarginatu?Moneta caudifer.Included body length,legs,eyes,geographical distribution and other datas are given to each species.Observed morphological characteristics of the body and genitalia,then take photos and detailed text description.Closely related and easily confused species are discussed.In addition,the intraspecific color variation and mating plug phenomenon in some Theridiidae spider were discussed.
