The Exploration Of The Needham Puzzle's Several Problems

British historian of science Joseph Needham once proposed a puzzle which named after himself,this puzzle has aroused the interest of many scholars.this paper mainly discuss on several aspects of this puzzle,such as its essence,the justification of itself and other perspective and so on.To some extent,this would make some progress in solving this puzzle.The connotation of the first part of this paper mainly discussed the Needham puzzle itself,which gives a brief description of civilized achievements in ancient China,and then try to analyze the causes of these cultural achievements;later focus on the western science and problem infered from it;Based on what have mentioned and combined with other papers,we will try to find the similarities and differences between the East and the west.The second part is mainly focus on the different interpretations of this puzzle,this part will criticise all the different opinion neutrally and objectively.Futher more,it is important to analyze the way of thinking below the surface.The third part is try to provide different perspectives to Needham's puzzle,it is a good choice to use the view of cognition,beside,the ability and habit of the observers will also influence the final answer of this problem,this puzzle will be considered to be a dynamic process.The fourth part is mainly trying to add some other details,it contains how to find a same point from different interpretation,and the attention of Needham problem,we will also need to consider the replacement of this puzzle,based on mentioned above,this puzzle will be putting in a more broad and ambitious vision.
