The wolf spiders(Lycosidae)are widely distributed almost all kinds of ground eco-systems on the earth, which are hunting and dominant on spring and early summer. To date, there are 120 genera,2391 species known from the world and 26 genera,293 species from China. The genus Pardosa C.L.Koch,1847 is the largest group, which includes 557 known species from the world and 126 species in China. The taxonomy and phylogeny of this genus Pardosa is still in heavily questionable. The highly similar morphology is one of the reasons of it,such as the strongly sclerotized bulb(subtegulum basally;tegulum and median apophysis on the mid-part;and embolus, conductor, terminal apophysis and others apical sclerite),the abundance of the variation of intra-species and the little difference in inter-species.Therefore,it's necessary to make some subgroups(species groups). Now there are 34 species groups proposed for more than 300 Pardosa species. The revision of all Pardosa species is almost impossible due to the unavailble specimens from almost all continenents of the world. In the present study,we reviewed the P.nebulosa-group and P.wuyiensis-group based on a large number of literatures, new samples collected in China.Based on the literatures,we list 41 species in Pardosa nebulosa-group and 2 species in P.wuyiensis-group from the world.Judged from the genitalia, these two groups should definitely be excluded from Pardosa, but we can not do it for the absence of most type specimens. So they are still placed in Pardosa till the further research on Lycosidae. On the other hand,we revised most Chinese species of P.nebulosa-group(18 species)mainly based on specimens and two species of P.wuyiensis-group.Two new species of P.nebulosa-group,P.parathompsoni sp.nov.and P.tuberosa sp.nov.are newly found and a new synonym[P.shuangjiangensis Yin et al.,1997 = P.pusiola(Thorell,1891)]are proposed. The P.wuyiensis-group is an endemic group in China, including only two species,P.dentitegulum Yin et al.,1997 and P.wuyiensis Yu&Song,1988.The female of P.dentitegulum is firstly described.Tatally 35 color photos, drawing figures and SEM photos of 13 species are given.
