In recent years,under the rapid development of new energy generator technology,and has raised an upsurge of research in various countries,after the basic mature of wind power and solar power generation technology,ocean currents will become the key areas of future research.There was some achievements in the basic research field of current energy generation in China,but there are some disadvantages of simple control,low power generation efficiency,and so on.So it is significant to study ocean current energy generation simulation test platform to improve the efficiency and reliability of current energy power generation.In this paper,the overall simulation of the test platform for ocean current energy generation is realized.the first overview of the domestic and foreign current power generation with the basic situation,descripte the ocean energy power in selecte each component and characteristics,and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of several power system topology,determine the structure of 20 k W ocean current power generation simulation test platform,namely the induction motor simulation of turbine driven permanent magnet synchronous generator to generate alternating current,in after the type of back-to-back SVPWM rectifier and inverter connected to the grid,and output energy.the paper uses MATLAB simulation software to simulate the working principle of the test platform,the main research contents include the following:(1)turbine simulation.analyses the base of the mechanical properties of the turbine,using DC motor and asynchronous motor hydraulic turbine,and three conditions of simulation experiment that constant speed,gradual change speed,random velocity was simulated.(2)the controller.the controller is mainly divided into two parts: the control of the converter and the design of the maximum power tracking control.The program of maximum power control simulation is designed,and the simulation model of the maximum power controller based on SVPWM control technology converter and mountain climbing search method is completed in Simulink.(3)overall test experimental platform.in simulation software,the simulation of hydraulic turbine,permanent magnet synchronous generator,a controller,etc.built current power system simulation test platform,complete the overall debugging and typical operating condition simulation,the output power of the tested and rated working under the test platform.In this paper,the realization of the current power generation simulation test platform simulation,provided an important theoretical reference for the subsequent physical,laboratory under current optimization to power control method and improve current power generation efficiency.
