Geological movement and the change of the external environment will lead to the building and the geological structure changing. Geological structure deformation can make the frequencies of geological disasters such as landslide has risen sharply, in order to reduce disasters occur the loss of people's lives and property, on possible deformation must be continuous, long-term monitoring. Global Positioning System(GPS) are fast positioning, all-weather, automation, does not need to pass between the station, at the same time the determination of three dimensional coordinates and the advantages of higher precision, on the aspects of classical geodesy and geodynamics research has had a profound effect, has been widely used in engineering and disaster monitoring, become a kind of new method of deformation monitoring.Combining with the theory of wavelet analysis on its application in GPS deformation monitoring is studied, firstly introduces the theory of GPS deformation monitoring, to has carried on the induction and the error of GPS measurement by some error correction method is expounded in the paper. To the design of GPS deformation monitoring network, data pretreatment, quality check and monitoring network data processing made in-depth exploration, put forward the optimization algorithm based on wavelet analysis theory, and combining with the actual engineering analysis of GPS data processing. Finally combining with an instance of a region GPS landslide deformation monitoring, this paper discussed the working mode of GPS in the landslide deformation monitoring method and technology, including the introduction of monitoring object, the deformation monitoring plan design and implementation, using wavelet analysis to deal with GPS data and the defect datacompletion and denoising, the last of nine deformation monitoring displacement characteristics are analyzed and discussed, by wavelet decomposition and intuitive to reflect the deformation of landslide monitoring results.
