Research On Cascading Failure And Vulnerability Analysis In Heterogeneous Networks

Heterogeneous network model are the summary of many infrastructure system heterogeneous features. Cascading failure process standard model is the baseline work for research cascading failure. These researches are helpful for find out the key point of operation system for taking use of these features. Classics cascading failure model based on overload have no considering the changing of node load, leading to unable load redistributing in condition of considering node load state. This paper proposes a new node load redistributing strategy based on heterogeneous network cascading failure. Then proposes a new node importance assess method based on the new redistributing strategy and uses three kind of attacking strategies for testing the network fragile. This research reaches some meaningful result. This paper has some innovation points as follows:(1) Proposing a heterogeneous network cascading failure model based on Markov process theory.In summary of many infrastructure system heterogeneous features, this paper proposes heterogeneous network model, then analysis heterogeneous network cascading failure process using Markov process theory, then defining heterogeneous network states such as first state, breakdown accumulation state and failure state. These works make heterogeneous network cascading failure become standardization.(2) Proposing a new node load redistributing strategy based node load state and node importance assess method.The new node load redistributing strategy can redistribute load based on adjoin node load state. Then test this strategy in American airlines network, reach a meaning result, this new redistributing strategy can reach the beast robust. Then proposes a new node importance assess method based on the new redistributing strategy, rank the node importance before attack network.(3) Analysis heterogeneous network fragile base on node load redistributing strategy and research intrinsic cascading failure reasons.Take four typical heterogeneous networks as experiment and analysis these networks cascading failure feature by using three kind of attack strategy. Find out some parameters which can make these networks more robust. And then analysis these robust networks by node importance ranking result.
