As the rapid progress of China's urbanization,surface feature updates continuously,natural or man-made disasters occurs frequently.So,there is a urgent need for a mapping method of a large scale of small range.As technology advances in these years,light and small UAV can also be used as a low-altitude remote sensing platforms,it is being applied to the field of photogrammetry.Against with traditional aerial photogrammetry,UAV platform has many advantages such as: low cost,high resolution and high aging.On the other hand,POS systems which composed by GPS and IMU are increasingly being used in a wide range of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing,ISO(Integrated Sensor Orientation)photogrammetry is also a great progress in photogrammetry.Those measurement can significantly reduce or remove ground control point measurement,thereby,largely improve aerial photography productivity.As in recent years,GPS and IMU units cost reduction,size reduction and the improvement of the accuracy.The GPS/IMU system is applied to a combination of assisted UAV Photogrammetry which is a major trend in the development of photogrammetry development.The main contents and conclusion of this study are: 1.Detailed introduction of the ISO photogrammetric involved in GPS positioning,IMU related measurement principle and GPS/IMU systems combination and the data fusion.Then,describ and analysis traditional aerial triangulation,ISO Photogrammetry,Di SO(Direct Integrated Sensor Orientation)method in principle and mathematical models.According to the characteristics of low altitude photogrammetry of light and small UAV,the applicable range is given.2.Detailed analysis the error sources of small light UAV GPS/IMU assisted photogrammetry,focusing on the key processes in small light UAV ISO photogrammetric work,and form a complete sets of light and small UAV photogrammetric workflow,and design a suitable light UAV platform,integrated GPS / IMU system.3.Adopt the application,analysis traditional aerial triangulation,ISO Photogrammetry and Di SO on small UAV platform.Verify the low altitude remote sensing measurements of light UAV platform to meet the accuracy requirements of large-scale topographic maps,using ISO photogrammetric method can effectively improve mapping accuracy,and can reduce the quantity of work.
