Conventional instrument of fully hydraulic drill rig usually display a few key parts of the pressure,which was very limited for drilling rig.So the operator can't fully grasp the running state of the drilling rig and discover the fault in time.At the same time,the conventional instrument can't store drill information.In the event of failure,we didn't find the historical roots.In order to grasp the running state of the drilling rig timely,the paper developed a set of virtual instrument system.The system monitors 13 parameters,such as pressure,flow,temperature,liquid level,rotational speed,angle,torque,and so on.It displays the parameters in 7 inch LCD screen with software dial,digital dial,and histogram form.Besides,the system has data storage and fault early warning function of the key components.The research is carried out as the following several aspects.Firstly,we established the overall development plan of the system.According to the characteristics of fully hydraulic drill rig,we analyzed the function requirements of the overall system,determined the development of ideas with hardware and software in parallel,and formulated the "first development,debugging,after the final integration" research steps,to ensure the project carried out orderly.Secondly,the hardware was set up for the virtual instrument system.The hardware of virtual instrument system.According to the requirement of the coal mine safety,we determined the overall layout of the system hardware.Then the appropriate sensor and data collector were chose to realize the collection of rig state data with the monitoring parameter characteristic.The embedded display module circuit was designed for the system function.The integrated debugging test was preceded with the design expectations.Thirdly,the software was developed for the virtual instrument system.We determined the overall architecture of software,and write the program of the hardware driver layer,platform software layer,application layer.It implemented the functions of the system with the data computing and storage,CAN communication,interface display,monitoring and diagnosis.Fourthly,the indoor verification experiment was carried out on ZDY3200S drilling rig.We completed the transformation of the drilling rig structure and the integration of virtual instrument system.The contrast experiments verified the system completeness and the accuracy of data.The test results shown that the hardware connection and layout of the virtual instrument system were reasonable,and the installation was convenient.The operation of the software system was stable,the real time performance and the accuracy of the parameter display could meet the requirements.Compared with the traditional pressure gauge,the system provided more information about the drilling rig,and the numerical display function was more intuitive than the traditional pressure gauge,and the functions of fault warning and information storage were added,and the integration and digitalization of drilling parameter monitoring were realized.
