Since twenty-first Century, the socialist modernization of China has made greatprogress. The infrastructure construction has entered a rapid development period of history.The perfect and rapid update of domestic geotechnical drill equipment has promoted withthe development of the national infrastructure. The high torque and full-hydraulic of lightsoil drill is emerging engineering equipment. The localization of the type of drills is nothigh. The equipment performance and core technology has not fully mastered, and theresearch of the drills has not perfect.As the research object in the drilling stability of the high torque and full-hydraulic oflight soil drilling, and according to the influence and requirement of the drilling stabilityfrom the high torque output of the drill, researched for the aspects of the new structure andsystem,structure optimization and performance evaluation in drilling condition. Theanalysis methods of theoretical calculation and experimental research were combined inorder to improve the drilling stability. The research has both theoretical and engineeringsignificance for the same type of drills.The main research contents of this paper include the following:(1) In order to meet the requirements of drilling stability in construction, a newdesign was proposed for a new kind of oscillating hydraulic crawler chassis which canrealize the movement of non-planar turning in limited angle. Both sides of the tracks canbe controlled individually in the new type oscillating hydraulic crawler chassis. In this way,it’s able to automatically adjust the angle of each track according to up or down of thecontact surface, making it always in contact with the contact surface completely andimproving drilling stability. Meanwhile, the new type oscillating hydraulic crawler chassisdoes not need to adjust the height of two sides of the tracks for non-planar turning inlimited angle, and can turn adjustment with Work attitude, which will improve thedrilling stability and maneuverability of drill. The mathematical model was established forthe non-planar turning in limited angle. The correlative factors of the performance ofnon-planar turning in limited angle were analyzed by theoretical calculation and experiment.(2) As the research object in drill facade adjustable mast mechanism, a dual-detectionrectification automatic control method that focused on the vertical mast mechanism ofdrill is proposed, the method can simplify the cumbersome process of manual adjustmentsof the light drill. Moreover,the dual-detection rectification method can also solve theproblem that the orientation of the drilling mast with the similar type cannot be fullyknown by the single-sensor detection system. Based upon force analysis on the verticalmast mechanism of drill,a dual-detection rectification automatic control system is built,and research the control strategy and control algorithm to meet drilling stability. Thevalidity of the proposed method is verified by simulation and experiment.(3) As the research object in mast vibration, to seek a method for improving thedrilling stability in drilling. Based on the theoretical analysis and simulation study for freevibration and forced vibration under moving vibration loading, the structure of mast willbe optimized on drilling vibration performance. The variables as section parameter, tobuild a simplified model for easy figures and derived the optimization formula of theconstant section and variable cross-section, improve the performance of vibration.Moreover, that needs to analyze dangerous cross-section of mast with simulation undermoving vibration loading. The vibration load generator of the drilling mast will be designto complete the vibration experiment.(4) According to the drilling performance evaluation request, an estimate methodwhich is based on real working situation and combine theoretical evaluation method to geta practical data can improves the evaluation system which depends only on experience inthe past. To meet the high demand of drilling performance in dam repair, a loadperformance evaluation method in fixed-point drilling situation for high torque roofbolteris proposed. The feasibility of this method is verified by the loading drilling experiment.
