Lot kinds of minerals have been found in the North Bayan Har metallogenic belt,such as Au,Sb,Hg,As,Cu,W,etc.Owing to located in the belt,Maduo area possesses favorable tectonic metallogenic environment and abundant source of ore-forming materials,which shows better comprehensive mineralization ability and metallogenic potential.Summarizing the geological characteristics,geochemistry,geophysics and remote sensing,this paper points out the prospecting direction of this area and delineate the favorable prospecting distant spots.The main points of this paper are as follows:(1)The Triassic strata have been widely exposed in Maduo area,which are the main ore-forming strata in this area because of enriched by a variety of ore-forming elements.The main structure is the NW trending fault structure,which controls the distribution of magmatite,hydrothermal fluids and geochemical anomalies in the area.The widely distributed quartz veins are close to mineralization.The main types of mineralization in the study area are molybdenite mineralization,followed by molybdenite mineralization and peacock petrochemical.The types of alterations are silicification,kaolinization and epidotization,among which silicification is most closely related to mineralization.(2)The geochemical characteristics show that Sb,As,Au,Cu,Hg,Ag are the main ore-forming elements in the region,which is the same as the results of regional geochemical zoning.At the same time,this result also shows that the main mineralization in the study area is the mid-low temperature mineralization.(3)The element association of Sb,As and Ag is more likely to be integrated mineralized,and the Au,Cu,Hg are trended to be separately mineralized.It points the direction for the mineral evaluation in this area.The study on the fractal distribution of ore-forming elements shows that the enrichment mechanism of ore-forming elements is different or the extraction stage is different.(4)Through the comparison of various kinds of information,the prospectingmethod with geochemical means and geophysical and remote sensing information is effective in high altitude and high coverage area.Combining the geochemical anomalies delineating and the metallogenic facts in the area,the evaluation efficiency of mineral resources can be effectively improved.Taking geochemical characteristics and metallogenic geological characteristics as the leading factor,there are 5metallogenic distant scenic spots in the study area,with one first grade prospect area,one second grade prospect area,and three third grade prospect areas.The characteristics of geochemical anomalies in these areas are characterized by Sb,As and Au.
