The Shabaosi area is located in northeast of the Ergun block,the western edge of the Upper Heilongjiang basin.In this paper,the gold resource in the Shabaosi area has been predicted in the scale of 1 ? 50000 by comprehensive information.The prediction is based on studies of ore-forming geological conditions,geological characteristics and ore genesis of typical gold deposits.Moreover,according to analyzing results of geophysical,geochemical,remote sensing data,metallogenic model and prospecting model of the gold deposit have been established.In addition,the MARS has been used to complete metallogenic prediction of gold mineral resource in Shabaosi area.In Shabaosi,Balifang and Sanshierzhan gold deposit,main ore bodies occur in the terrigenous clastic rock of late Jurassic Mohe Formation and are controlled by fractures or structures trending in SN-and NNE-direction.The gold mineralization type belongs to veinlet and veinlet-disseminated,and the wall-rock alteration types mainly include silicification,pyritization,carbonation,sericitization and argillization.The metal minerals include pyrite,galena,arsenopyrite,sphalerite,chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite.Gold mineral which is small inclusion occurs within the pyrite particles.According to microscopic temperature measurement and Laser Raman spectroscopy of fluid inclusions,it can be determined that the ore fluid was characterized by medium temperature,medium salinity and medium-low depth,and the ore-forming fluid belongs to the H2O-NaCl-CO2-N2-CH4 hydrothermal system that are dominated by the magmatic water and mixed by the atmospheric water.Both study results and previous data support the conclusion that the gold deposits in Shabaosi area belong to the mesothermal hydrothermal lode gold deposit.The metallogenic model of gold deposit in Shabaosi area has been established.Such ore-controlling factors have been determined as the ore-hosting clastic rock in Mohe Formation,SN,NNE and NW faults or fractures.Some prospecting indicators have been extracted,including 1?50000 aeromagnetic negative anomaly of ?T gold geochemical anomaly,Ag-As-Sb combined anomaly,remote sesing alteration information on iron Iron stain and hydroxyl.The metallogenic prediction model of gold deposit in Shabaosi area has been established..Metallogenic prediction on the mesothermal gold deposit from comprehensive information has been carried out by the mineral resources assessment system(MRAS),and finished the metallogenic prediction map,calculated the mineralization probability.Eleven prospect areas have been determined,consisting four grade?,four grade ?and three grade ? areas.Ore-prospecting of different areas has been evaluated on basis of information on geology,geophysics,geochemistry and remote sensing.
