Shiyaogou-Yuanling Mo-Au deposit in Luanchuan County in Henan Province,is located in Xiong'er Shan Massif in Eastern Qinling Mountains,North China,the east part of the eastern Qinling-Dabie Mo polymetallic metallogenic belt.After decades of mining,the ore resources has been on the verge of exhaustion.This has become an urgent problem that we should investigate the mineralization mechanism of the Mo-Au deposit,It has become an problem to be solved urgently in the mine to carry out the analysis and prediction of the potential of mineral resources,to find the continuous resources and to prolong the life of the mine..This paper is foused on the basis of previous research and exploration on the basis of the results of the application of porphyry type copper-molybdenum deposit of new theory and new metallogenic model,The geological,geophysical and geochemical backgrounds of the geology,geophysics and geochemistry were analyzed,and the geological and geochemical characteristics of the mining area were studied.The geology of ore deposits was studied,and the ore-controlling factors were analyzed.Enrichment and prospecting,the metallogenic mechanism,metallogenic model and geological prospecting model are discussed,and the prospecting direction of the mine is pointed out,which provides the theory for the next exploration of the Mujiang-Muhe Au-Au deposit in accordance with.The main results are as follows:The exposed stratum are mainly comprised of the medium to high grade metamorphic rock of late Archean Taihua Group and the volcanic rock of Mesoproterozoic Xiong'er Group in Shiyaogou-Yuanling Mo-Au deposit.The Heihe-Luanchuan-Gushi fault zone and the Panhe-Lushi-Machao fault zone go through the mining area.The small rock body,which are intermediate-acid and hypabyssal to super hypabyssal in the Yanshanian,are equally spaced and are the parent rock of the Mo deposit.The stratum is mainly comprised of the volcanic rock of Mesoproterozoic Xiong'er Group in mining area.The structure mainly include east-western Machaoying fracture zone north-eastern Shiyaogou-qingshugang fracture zone.There are granite or granite-porphyry concealed rock bodies in the deep part of the Shiyaogou mining area.In the area,From north to south,the mining area is divided into the Nanping,the Yuanling,the Shiyaogou and the Hongzhuang mining areas.Among them,the Shiyaogou is molybdenum deposit,the other three are gold deposits.At present,more than twenty gold veins and one molybdenum vein have been found in the whole mining area,andeleven gold ore bodies and two molybdenum ore bodies have been identified.Shiyaogou-Yuanling Mo-Au deposit controlled by the following four factors:small intermediate-acid intrusive bodies in Mo metallogenic belt in eastern Qinling-Dabie Mountain;medium-felsic lava flow formed at middle Proterozoic in Xiong'er area;north-eastern fracture zone and its secondary fault zone that intersect with Machaoying fracture zone;replacement alteration zone for the center of rock body.The gold veins are mainly existed in near EW directional Machaoying fracture zone.Secondly,the gold veins are existed in NE directional fracture zone.The site,at which the EW directional fractures intersect with the NE directional fractures,or where sharp dip tend to be gently,is often gold enrichment area.The molybdenum veins are existed in the top and the internal contact zone of the granite porphyry bodies.The granite porphyry bodies located in the site at which the EW directional structures intersect with the NE directional structures.According to the geological characteristics and ore controlling factors,establish “intermediate-acid and post-magmatic hydrothermal replaced the granitic(porphyry)rock body?diagenetic fluid / ore forming fluid?altered rock zoning or dense joint type-vein type molybdenum-gold deposits”.We predict that there should be molybdenum ore body around Shiyaogou granite or granite-porphyry concealed rock bodies.Therefore,deep engineering control should be carried out to expand the scale of molybdenum deposit;Secondly,there are some metallogenic conditions in the fault zone,which can control the gold ore,and to expand the scale of the gold deposit.The fracture zone are north eastern directional and intersect with Machaoying fracture zone.
