Now the eastern old exploration area has been all in the stage of development prospecting,because of the development difficulty of this old exploration area is how to improve the vertical and horizontal resolution of seismic data to meet prospecting requirement of increasing subtle reservoir and improve successful injection and production ratio, the horizontal sampling of geometry for development seismic in this area has been denser and cost higher. But for how the changing geometry parameters influence the signal to noise ratio, resolution ratio and geological target imaging of seismic data, there is no theoretical guidance and basis. So, it is necessary to study the impact extent of geometry parameters changes to seismic data quality and geological characteristic imaging, thus in-depth knowing and analyzing how to design seismic geometry more effectively.In the research of seismic geometry design and optimization, aiming at the influence of geometry parameters change to seismic data processing, seismic profile quality and seismic data interpretation, some researcher came up with the concept of"degradation processing" and did some test. According to the degradation processing test of some geometry parameters like folds, the largest source detect distance,arrange length,grid and so on,to get the degradation influence to seismic data.According to the special geological and seismic conditions in the eastern old exploration area, I carried out geometry parameters argumentation first, designed three degradation processing method: decreasing the number of shots uniformly,increasing the source interval and source line interval, increasing the receiver interval and receiver line interval of geometry. I assessed the degradation data quantitatively from aspects of stack section effect, three kinds of statistic attribute: signal to noise ratio,dominant frequency and average absolute amplitude, spectrum analysis,recognition of faults and reservoir stratums.Aiming at this high signal to noise ratio seismic data in eastern old exploration area, I acquired quantitative assessment results of three aspects: the relationship of shots degradation degree and section deterioration ratio, the sensibility difference of source interval increasing and source line interval increasing and the influence effect of bin change.
