Pohuoluolada copper deposit is located in in Meigu county of Sichuan province,its output of tectonic position of Yangtze landmass in the southwest margin of Panxi rift zone,including ore built to Emei mountain basalt.Emeishan basalt is considered to be the product of mantle plume effect,extensive development in Permian,located in the Yangtze craton,the western margin are mainly distributed in southwest China,things wide in 900 km,the north and the south grew up to 1000 km,which contains rich copper iron ore resources,especially the Panxi rift,found a large number of small and medium sized copper iron ore deposit,shows good prospecting potential.This paper samples in a large number of field investigation and indoor analysis,on the basis of combining a large number of predecessors to regional ore deposits(ore points)data,the study of regional geological background,mining area formation characteristics,orebody characteristics,analyzes the controlling factors of the ore deposit,and prospecting potential of the region has carried on the preliminary discussion.Mining area is located in the panxi rift Puxiong river fault zone on the east side,Permian emeishan basalt formation development better,mineralization characteristics,orebody is located in the north mining area,including ore formation of Permian mount emei basalt group(P3e),mainly for the structural ore-controlling Emeishan basalt eruption.Due to the thickness of the earth's surface,the ore body is exposed to the surface of the earth,and it is revealed by engineering that the structure of the mineral body is like a layer,a vein,and no branching of the surface of the surface.The thickness of the ore is 0.14 ~ 2.91 m,the thickest 2.91 m,average 1.41 m,and the variation coefficient of thickness is 64.92%.Grade is 0.17% ~ 6.01%,average 1.14%.The ore body mainly deposits emeishan basalt section(P3e1),and the lower layer of the lower layer is the middle and middle section(P2m),which is unconformity.The mineral lithology is dense,stomata(almond),porphyritic basalt,and is controlled by basalt eruption.Ore wall rock alteration is obvious,generally along the margin of the ore body are altered,mainly for carbonatization,pyritization,chloritization,silicide,etc.,which have the closest relations with orebody enrichment is the peacock petrochemical,silicide;Minerals are complex,and metals minerals include yellow copper ore,pyrite,spot copper,copper,blue,blue copper and malachite.Non-metallic minerals are mainly chlorite,quartz,sericite,feldspar,pyroxite and so on.Useful minerals are secondary sulfide and primary sulfide.Preliminary analysis suggests that this deposit is a hot liquid deposit after the basutic magma stage.The basu magmatic activity provides the source of metallogenic materials,and leads to the enrichment of the later metallogenic elements.In ancient China,during the great cracking-basic rock intrusion,that led to the formation of endogenous metal ore deposits in this area the ore-forming material base,the precipitation and enrichment of ore-forming elements or magmatic hydrothermal activities,namely the basaltic magma erupted late or intermittent period volcanic hydrothermal and basaltic magma condensate differentiation of ore-bearing hydrothermal and thermal action directly or involved in mineralization of lava.The complex fracture structures have created favorable conditions for the assembly of copper,and primary structure such as porosity,almonds,porphyritic have fracture is more,higher porosity or injection fluid metasomatism of mineralization,and provides a good ore-forming fluid gathering space and migration path.Through extensive geological analysis,combined with geophysical method,this paper discusses the prospecting potential of the area,and summarizes the prospecting model.Study shows that the copper mineralization belt in the south of mine geophysical characteristics significantly,in the field outcrop observation middle copper ore body scale is relatively large,and copper ore grade and quality is better also,has good ore prospects.The direct prospecting sign is a peacock petrifaction in the outcrop.
