Research On Geographic Entity Division Considering Governmental Departments

Geographic information data is involved in the operations of the government departments at the moment.In general the ABIS should integrate the GIS to analyze and manage the geographic information data.Geographic information is the data source of geographic entity.To divide the geographic entity which is managed by the government departments based on the granularity.But the shared structure of geographic information which we use now is not consider the requirements of government departments.It cause the information isolated island and information source wasting appearance.Thus,it is very important to build the geographic information shared structure which consider the requirements of government departments.Firstly,this thesis suggests a geographic entity taxonomy through analysis of government public information and the research on government management content.Thereby we obtain the smallest granularity of geographic entity which managed by every government department.Then bring basic information of geographic entity in traditional fundamental surveying and mapping data to build a conceptual model which use to share the geographic information data,thereby obtain the purpose of updating fundamental surveying and mapping data.To make geographic information data sharing between the governmental departments come true.The content and conclusions of this paper include:(1)One geographic entity taxonomy which consider the government departmentAnalyzing the administrative function of each department to obtain the geographic entity type in each department.Do research on the way which the government manage each geographic entity.It will reveal that government requirement of geographic entity information and suggest a geographic entity taxonomy which consider the government department.(2)The basic information Extraction from government managementTo bring in six elements of geographic entity,and do the research of geographic entity meaning.Then this paper suggest the basic information and spatial information of geographic entity which use to share between departments.(3)One geographic information sharing model which consider the government managementDo a research on information sharing mechanism between government departments and analyze the deficiencies in sharing mechanism.Discovering the government requirements in data sharing.To build geographic entity sharing model between governments departments.The findings show that the geographic entity taxonomy which base on the government public information is very applicable to use in geographic data sharing between the departments.To combine the management content of each department and bring in constraints is not only consider the requirements of government departments,but also the efficiency of data sharing strengthen sharply between government departments.
