With the increasing exploitation of ocean resources,during development, the monitor of ocean environment elements is becoming increasingly important problem. Monitoring the ocean by buoy has accepted in many foreign countries.There are some advantages about monitoring the ocean by buoy. For example,the ocean buoy could monitor many kinds of ocean elements, such as,wind speed,flow velocity,the period of wave temperature and so on. And the cost of running and maintenance of buoy is lower than ship and plane.Man extends current range for monitoring through distributing large amounts of ocean buoys. But the marine environments is very complex, and the buoy could not be suitable for working persistently and chronically in specific areas. Due to this, mass administration of the buoy is limited.The thesis is based on collecting the data about the ocean buoy, comparing advantages and disadvantages of different kinds of bouy. According to the actual needs, present a new design about the buoy. The buoy will stay in a specific area for much longer, with aid of reducing-speed device, control system, global positioning system and propelling system. The machine energy produced by relative motion between the buoy and reducing-speed device can be transformed into electric energy. The electric energy can offer energy for monitoring equipment and propelling equipment. So the bouy have extensive application prospects.This thesis relies on micro-wave amplitude theory, and the mathematical model of forced buoy system was built on the vertical dimension.The thesis takes the varying displacement between the buoy and the speed reducing device as objective function,optimize the size of buoy system,and make a motion characteristics compare between elastic connections and rigid connections of the buoy.According to the determined size of the buoy, choose the way to calculate the transversal force of buoy. The thesis brings in the standard formula of Morison, and changes the standard formula of Morison in order to fit the real situation,and study on the motion properties of the buoy system on the lateral dimension by setting up the mathematical model.Compared the role of reducing-speed device on the lateral dimension during the speed reducing device of fixed geometry structure?flexible structure and rigid structure. The flexible structure is made of membrane materials, addressing the form-finding analysis with the dynamic relaxation method, and assuring the accuracy of the form-finding analysis by the least square method.The thesis validate the result of the form-finding method by ANSYS and use the kinematics analysis software ADAMS to build the virtual prototype of this device in order to verify the result of theoretical analysis.
