Design And Application Of Virtual Simulation Experiment Based On VR Narrative

Virtual simulation experiment is an experimental method to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment under the limited factors. With the construction of the national virtual simulation experiment teaching center by Ministry of Education and the development of related software and hardware technology, the form of virtual simulation experiment is changed from simple, single to complex and diversified. But at the same time, some problems appeared in the experiment, such as repeated execution of the repeated operation, the experimenter's passive and lacking of autonomy, the lack of interaction in the experiment process, and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to find a method which can combine with the latest technology to solve or improve the problems.This paper starts with the immersion, interactivity and automation in the experiment process, put VR narrative into the virtual simulation experiment, and designed a scheme of virtual simulation experiment based on VR narrative, it provides a new idea for the development of immersive virtual simulation experiment. The experimental results show that this method can improve the learner's learning interest, autonomy and personalized learning. The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the two kinds of common virtual simulation experiments, combined with the characteristics of VR narrative, preliminary determined the design flow, key technology and design method of the virtual simulation experiment under VR narrative.Secondly, expounded the key technology of virtual simulation experiment under VR narrative -- the plot experimental process of key events and · determined the relevant technical points, including description and transition of key events, description and transition of interaction points and automatic generation and interactive generation of the key events, to ensure that the experiment is carried out effectively and efficiently.Thirdly, according to the characteristics of VR technology, this paper gives a complete solution to the design of virtual simulation experiment. First of all, the method of partition is used to design the scene of 360 degrees, and design a method to improve the vertigo in the scene, and then interactive behavior in experiments is introduced; This paper describes the characteristics, classification and usage of sound of feedback hints in the experimental scene; Finally, explained the selection and use of visual angle to enhance the immersion in virtual simulation experiment.Finally, based on the above theoretical basis and design method, the experiment was carried out with the example of isolation and culture of Bacillus subtilis, through the evaluation, the design method, which is used to integrate the VR narrative into the virtual simulation experiment, is helpful to improve the students' interest in learning, learning autonomy and the role of personalized learning.
