Geographic Information System(GIS)is a software system that handles information about spatial location.At the present,GIS applications have been gradually extended to all aspects of social life.The object of oil and gas exploration has its inherent spatial characteristics,and it is feasible to solve various problems in the field of oil and gas exploration based on GIS.The analysis of oil-bearing area is one of the main problems to be solved in oil and gas exploration.In this paper,GIS technology is applied to the tectonic analysis of oil-bearing area,on one hand,to construct the information analysis solution of tectonic analysis,on the other hand to meet the needs of tectonic analysis and research in oil and gas exploration.The basic approaches and solutions for the structural analysis of oil and gas reservoirs with the support of GIS were explored.The key technologies of GIS-based oil-gas tectonic analysis system design and development was discussed,and the tectonic analysis of oil-archaeological reconstruction was builded,paleo-tectonic evolution analysis of the mathematical model and the realization of the process,and the structural analysis system of the overall design and functional design based on the problems of the three tectonic analyzes included the analysis of sedimentation,paleo-tectonic reconstruction and paleo-tectonic evolution were carried out.Based on Visual Studio 2005,the system was developed with component development technology.At the same time,ArcEngine was used to support to develop the system function.A set of application system with main tectonic analysis function and could meet the needs of structural analysis of oil and gas zone was developed.And the tectonic subsidence analysis and tectonic evolution analysis of Yuanba area were carried out by using the functional modules provided by the system.The main results of this paper are:(1)Carried out the GIS modeling of tectonic analysis.On the basis of previous studies,the structural analysis method of based on GIS was analyzed and summarized,and the settlement analysis was expounded,and the paleo-structural reconstruction and the tectonic evolution analysis model were supported by GIS,which established the foundation for the design of structural analysis system.(2)Carried out the tectonic analysis software system's design.A set of tectonic analysis system with structural subsidence analysis and tectonic evolution analysis and palaeostructure reconstruction was developed by using ArcGIS secondary development component.(3)Taking the tectonic subsidence analysis and tectonic evolution analysis of Yuanba area as an example,the application model developed by this paper was applied.The porosity-depth relationship of different types of rocks in YB3,YB4 and YB5 wells was established.The problems of late Mesozoic-Cenozoic denudation in the Yuanba area were discussed.The single well settlement history of YB3,YB4 and YB5 wells was analyzed.The tectonic evolution history of Yuanba area was reconstructed in six periods of Yuanba area,and the practicability of the system developed in this paper was verified.
