This paper takes the organic-rich shale of the Upper Permian Leping formation in Pingle depression for the study and selects typical outcrop to measure the profile,description and collect the sample.And through the means of microscopic flakes,X-raydiffractionwholerock analysis and geochemical analysis means,such as total organic carbon,pyrolysis,chloroform bitumen,cheese with carbon isotopes,vitrinite reflectance.Combined with the collection of relevant geological data,the rock type,distribution characteristics,sedimentary facies,source rock characteristics and reservoir characteristics of shale gas shale in Leping Formation are studied systematically.The period of leping in the study area was affected by periodic seawater.Sedimentary sandstone,carbonaceous shale,silty mudstone and mudstone with Cross-bedding and clay lenticular bedding.The shaleare mainly distributed in the Fengcheng areaand Leping area,individual regions of ancient formation coal-bearing sedimentary swamp plant development.The study area is mainly a tidal flat facies coal-bearing clastic deposits.The results of organic geochemical tests show that the organic matter content of the organic shale in the Leping Formation is higher than that in the Leping Formation,and the organic matter is the highest in the Pingxiang area.The organic isotopic analysis of organic microstructures and kerogen was carried out.The organic matter of Leping Formation was composed of terrestrial higher plants,and the type of organic matter was mainly type ?,some for the type?.Organic matter maturity test analysis showed that the vitrinite reflectivity was high,most of the samples reached the high mature stage,part of the mature stage,is the dry gas phase.The organic-rich shale is given priority to with clay minerals and quartz,a small amount of feldspar and calcite,high content of brittleminerals shows that shale has good brittleness.Analysis of physical properties of the organic-rich shale shows that shale mainly develops organic pores,intergranular pores and dissolution pores,with low average porosity and permeability.Comprehensive study of petrological characteristics,sedimentary facies,organic geochemical characteristics,physical properties and gas analysis.It is concluded that the shale gas reservoirs in the Leping Formation of the study area belong to the highorganiclowthermal evolution abundance enrichment model of the organic matter in the tidal flat facies,then optimizing Leping area,PingXiang-YiChun area as favorable area.
