Since 1970 s,the concept of 3D modeling has been put forward, which is based on the fact that the real world objects are converted into analog entities through the data.In the geological industry,three-dimensional modeling is applied to 3D model of stratum, rock and mineral geological body construction technology has been relatively mature, can show the visual image of the geological body morphology, occurrence,so that you can make more detailed study of orebody geology. In this thesis, the ArcGIS software as the three-dimensional modeling platform of orebody of Xinjiang Bole LAMASU peripheral copper,A comprehensive system of finishing the original geological catalog data and MapGIS map data, and convert it,stored in geological data.In the modeling process, first get the TIN model in ArcMap,the DEM data of the study area obtained by surface rendering, the application in ArcScene DEM raster data superposition drilling log, study area, road sampling, adit, control points, geophysical points, show that the study area project deployment in the visual space. And through the ArcScene grade of Cu interpolation on the surface of the model construction of orebody, stretching between two TIN applications,To estimate the amount of ore reserves / resources, and ultimately, compared with the traditional geological statistics methods to verify. The three-dimensional model of ore body makes the ore body shape changeable, the mineralization is complex, and the resource / reserves estimation work is more reliable. The 3D modeling of the resources / reserves calculation not only is intuitive and simple but also reduces the error based on the unpredictable, the estimation accuracy is increased to a certain extent,is a good application of the reform and development of traditional mineral resources / reserves estimation.
