In recent years, with the development of computer technology, the traditional geological industry has changed a lot, especially in the method of the mineral exploration and the estimation of the mineral resource. The traditional two-dimensional graphics can not truly reflect the actual situation of geological body and have a disadvantaged effect on the exploiting Mineral resource. To achieve sustainable development of mineral resources,Digital Mine came into being, and three-dimensional simulation of the deposit is the basis for achieving this goal.Making use of the collected data to establish The 3Dgeological modeling of deposit, which describes the shape of geologic bodies in 3D space and is great help to manage mineral resources. On the basis of the solid model of the orebody, we can further estimate reserves of mineral resources by geostatistical method. In this paper, Tibet Gala Le copper and gold deposit as the research object on the basis of fully collecting and collating geology information, using mining software Micromine as a research tool, three-dimensional modeling and reserve estimation of the deposit are studied. The following results and understandings are obtained:(1)Collecting the basic geological data into Micro mine software to establish the geological database of the deposits, According to the drilling database we can establish the ore body model and surface model which can help recognize their contract relation.(2)In geological profile interpretation, we addressed the basic principle of ore body delineation and some important issues, providing solutions to the one-to-many cases of contour lines(3)Based on the statistical analysis of the original samples, the suitable sample length of combination was identified, the sample data of drillings were combinatorial analyzed. applied classical statistical methods to study the distribution of copper grade of the deposit and its variation, and composited different grades of ore samples in the orebody; applied variogram to analyze the anisotropy of Cu grade's composite samples in the orebody, established the variogram models of Cu grade's composite in the direction of strike, dip direction and thickness of orebody;used orebody model asboundary to create a block model and estimated the amount of resources of the deposit by using geostatistical method and then compared to the results by traditional method of parallel vertical cross-section.This paper discussed the operating principles and the problems that should be paying attention to on the use of mine softwares such as Micromine in 3D geological modeling and mine resource estimate based on the experience of this work. It shows that3D geological modeling of the deposit may show people the deposit(orebody)vividly and visually, using geostatistical methods combined with block valuation techniquesand Surpac mining software to estimate the resources of the deposit and verifying the evaluation results can manage resources dynamically. The method of this paperpromote the process of mine digital construction in this area, and its method chosen toevaluate parameters and principles of resource estimates provides valuable research methods for other mines' relevant work.
