With the rapid development of our country economy,the living standards of the residents are continued to increase and the number of cars is also in the sharp increase.Because of the sharp increment,the parking problem is becoming more and more serious,especially in some large cities,facing with the land resources,the huge number of vehicles and other difficulties.In order to solve this problem effectively,this dissertation mainly focuses on the optimization of the roadway stacking and tower type parking system.According to the operation principle of AS/RS system and operation characteristics of the S/R machine,we get the continuous model of two kinds of parking system and derive some mathematical models of the system travel time.We use these models establish the optimal model and the optimal system configuration to minimize system travel time is obtained.Through these optimal studies,we can obviously improve the efficiency of the parking system,which provide a strong theoretical support for the actual construction of efficient three-dimensional parking system.We mainly deal with the optimal I/O location for the roadway stacking type system.Based on the characteristics of the parking system and the basic principle of AS/RS system,we obtain the continuous model in units of time.For the single command cycle using the randomized storage policy,we calculate the probability density function of the system travel time and thus we develop the travel time model.And we confirm that the travel time model shows a good performance by comparing with discrete case.Finally in this part,we establish the optimal model by minimizing the expected travel time model and it is shown that the optimal location of the I/O point is located at the middle of the left-hand above corner.With regard to the tower parking system,our main research objective is to obtain the system configuration that minimizes system travel time.In this system,the storage and retrieval requests are performed by a tower crane.And the S/R machine is located at the middle of the bottom of the parking area which can rotate in both clockwise and counterclockwise.The S/R machine can do three kinds of movements simultaneously: the radial movement,the rotation movement and the movement in vertical direction.Under the random storage policy,using the same research method as the roadway stacking system,we obtain some mathematical travel time models for the S/R machine executing the single and dual command respectively.Finally,we establish the optimal model for the two commands respectively.Through the solution of the model,we get the system configuration that minimizes system travel time for the two commands respectively.
