Supply chain is the enterprise' interlocking chain from raw materials and spare parts procurement,transportation,processing and manufacturing,distribution and customers.Supply chain management refers to the whole supply chain system planning,coordination,operation,control and optimization of various activities and processes.In the process of production activities of enterprises,management decision makers analyze the three stages of production,transportation and inventory.In practice,we want to achieve the lowest total cost,through the joint decisions of production,transportation and inventory.Firstly,by using the modeling methods of stochastic programming,we develop a framework for modeling stochastic programming in a supply chain that is subject to demand uncertainty with reasonable assumptions.And then,based on the genetic algorithm and stochastic simulation,a solution method is developed to solve the model.The practical example must be combined with our model and algorithm,in order to prove that the result is effective.Secondly,we consider the three key links of the production,transportation and inventory on the basis of the research content in the previous chapter.In the case of customer demands are random variables,an optimization model of multi-period production-transportation--inventory is developed.Finally,We use heuristic solution strategy of genetic algorithm to find the optimal solution,and study a simple numerical example that shows the feasibility of the algorithm and model.
