Dynamic demand fluctuation brings great challenges to supply chain management,which directly leads to supply chain management problems such as inventory spillover and freight increase.Dynamic demand will lead to the imbalance of inventory and logistics distribution,which will increase the operating cost and operational risk of the enterprises.Under the background of the increase of global supply chain risk and the increase of supply chain management cost,the joint decision of inventory and vehicle routing planning considering dynamic demand will be of great practical significance to reduce enterprise operating cost and operational risk.Based on the investigation of real enterprises,this paper will study the joint decision-making of inventory and vehicle routing considering dynamic demand,and will fully consider the impact of dynamic demand on decision-making.In the study,the logistics distribution process in the case of dynamic demand and discontinuous time window is considered.We use the demand forecasting method to grasp the future customer demand information,and divide the customer time window naturally according to the actual demand and future demand.Furthermore,we set the prohibited transportation time between different periods,and on this basis,we weigh the inventory cost and logistics cost.Taking the minimization of the total cost as the objective function,we solve the problem of when to deliver to which customers and how to plan the distribution path.Specifically,first of all,we will use the existing data to predict the dynamic demand,and use the machine learning method and time series method to predict the customer demand in the planning cycle to further reduce the impact of uncertainty on joint decision-making.Secondly,we construct a route planning model considering dynamic requirements,namely VRPTW-DD model,and design a solution algorithm.At the same time,according to the investigation of enterprises,we give a numerical example with the background of tobacco industry to prove the effectiveness of future information in reducing logistics path costs.Finally,we further analyze the influence of dynamic demand on vehicle routing problem,considering that customers put forward real demand and forecast demand in different time periods,and set forbidden transportation time between different time periods,so customers' cross-time distribution will need to consider product inventory cost.We build a joint inventory and vehicle routing optimization model considering dynamic demand,namely VRPTWDDR model.We apply the model to an example of tobacco distribution and a numerical example based on the background of the tobacco industry to further prove the effectiveness of our model and algorithm.In this paper,the joint decision-making model of inventory and routing planning considering dynamic demand applies the data analysis method to the research of vehicle routing planning,and further expands the vehicle routing planning model.At the same time,through the management of dynamic demand,it provides a low-cost and efficient inventory transportation strategy for enterprises,and further reduces the operating costs and operational risks of enterprises.
