As new applications of optical plastic come out constantly, the demand calls for more strict on the layer.Because of a poor surface hardness, film crack is easy to occur on optical plastic when temperature keeps rising. Therefore, developments on optical plastic products are constrained. This topic aims to solve the problems of easy-scratch and high-temperature film cracks that happen on current optical plastic lenses. We selected Ti3O5,SiO2 and LSA as high and low refractive index materials for their stable mechanical properties.According to thin film theory, film system is designed with the help of TFCalc software.Through the method of electron beam evaporation and the help of ion beam assist deposition,an anti-water film is deposited on outermost layer of the film system by electrical resistance heating.Linked layer was made with a new material of LSA,which enhances the adhesion between the lenses and film and resolve the expansion coefficient mismatch, meanwhile,it also provides higher temperature tolerance of plastic lenses.By optimizing technological parameters constantly,a 400-700 nm antireflection film with R=0.9% reflectivity is obtained on optical plastic base. After wear-resistant test, the hardness of plastic surface is notably improved and an anti-water angle greater than 110°has been measured after friction. There was no crack found on the film after heating the plastic surface for 100 min under high temperature 125?.The research on coating technique for plastic lenses facilitates applications an developments on plastic optical elements.
