With the rapid development of the e-commerce industry and the online-to-offline(O2O)services,express industry which has achieving the landing of these industries' products is developing very rapidly,but also encountered a new challenge of reforming promotion and improving performance.The last one kilometer is the last step of express service which also links closely to the user,and determines directly the level of customer service and the overall competitiveness of express enterprises.Express self-pickup provides users with personalized time and space,besides,reduces the cost of the last mile distribution by utilizing the social resources.These advantages make it an effective way to promoting express service in the last one kilometer.So how to determine the layout of express self-pickup network effectively,systematically and scientifically has become one of the urgent problems to be solved in logistics enterprises.Comparing and analyzing of common alternative address selection methods and site selection models,the approach to study the express self-pickup network layout in the use of GIS is determined.Frist,the objective factors of the express self-pickup location are identified which are geographical factors,service radius,business hours and traffic conditions.Then the relevant data of objective factors is obtained and imported into the GIS platform,the alternative self-pickup addresses are determined by the use of GIS platform buffer analysis,Voronoi diagram analysis and overlay analysis.Later on,combining improved CFLP model with penalty cost function,the model of the express self-pickup layout is established.And the objective of the model is lowest the sum of management cost and penalty cost,the constraints considered to meet the needs of each service demand constraint and locations necessary establishment constraint.Finally,taking a prosperous area in Yanta District,Xi'an City as an example,there are the 10 existing delivery points,32 convenience stores and 148 roads,corresponding buffer maps of these are built on GIS platform,97 demand points are fixed and their Voronoi diagrams are built.By using the overlay analysis of each buffer layer and Voronoi diagram,34 alternative addresses are determined.By using the survey data,the distance penalty cost function is fitted and the model of the express self-pickup network is determined.With the use of Lingo software,13 express self-pickup locations are selected and further assigned the demand points to these 13 express self-pickup points.Comparing with the existing layout of the express self-pickup layout,the user satisfaction is increased by 23.71%,the primary delivery success rate is increased by 6.41%.It is suggested that the proposed model of the express self-pickup network based on GIS and analytical method is effective and feasible which can determine the layout of the express self-pickup network effectively,and provide a novel,advanced and effective method to solve the problem of the express self-pickup network layout.
